Week 2 2011

We went to Wyoming with a huge storm moving in, crap! I am always amazed at how high the majority of this state is. Most of it is above 5000 feet or at least the highways are. My area this week was central Wy. which encompasses Lander north to Basin, West to Cody and back down through Thermopolis, the highlight of Wyoming.

These two pictures are of the Wind River Canyon. There re actually three tunnels one right after the other.

I drove through here coming and going, on the way there I saw a guy climbing the water fall on the right or bottom picture but didn't think to snap a shot.

Week 1 2011

Off to Utah, this state is one of the biggest for C to C and we have a competitor trying to get a foothold so we are spending a lot, (to much for me), of time here to combat their efforts. The weather was much better than Idaho's which made the trip almost okay, but the traffic still stunk!

The upper photo is near Escalante and the second is North of Kanab. This part of the state has some amazing rock formations.

2011

In an attempt to connect with my family, I have decided to try to give you an insight to some of the places I visit. This job has allowed me to visit 22 states in the last year and I'm going to document some of these trips with pictures. There won't be much dialog but I'm hoping you can get a feel for my life as it is now. Some day's I'll call a family member and say I'm on my way to Washington, or where ever just so someone knows where I am. In this day of video chat and cell phones, it's still not the same as a face to face or the old, see ya later honey, I'm going to work. Anyway, hope you enjoy.  Scott
